About the Colorway: Café au Lait

Café au Lait was inspired by slow mornings — the kind where the world feels hushed, light pours in gently, and your hands wrap around something warm and familiar. It’s a nod to comfort, ritual, and the beauty found in unhurried moments.

This colorway celebrates warmth and ease: savoring the in-between, finding calm in simplicity, and letting softness settle in ✨

It features a thoughtfully layered blend of
• creamy oat and warm vanilla
• soft latte beige and pale almond
• subtle toasted undertones that add depth and balance

The colors drift seamlessly across the skein, creating a smooth, tonal flow with quiet variation. The overall effect is calm, cozy, and grounding — like linen curtains, sunlit kitchens, and that first sip of coffee before the day fully begins.

Option 1 — 100% Peruvian Highland Wool

Option 2 — 100% Superwash Merino Wool

  • Ultra-soft and smooth
  • More drape with a slightly silkier feel
  • Easy-care (machine washable on gentle, lay flat to dry recommended)
  • Ideal for garments worn close to skin, baby items, and soft accessories

Hand-Dyed with Care

All Motherhook Fiber & Co. yarn is hand-dyed in small batches in the Pacific Northwest.
Because of this process, natural variation between skeins is expected and celebrated. No two skeins are exactly alike—that’s part of what makes handmade yarn special.

Peruvian Highland Wool (Non-Superwash)

Superwash Merino Wool

  • Machine washable on gentle cycle (cold water recommended)
