These one-of-a-kind skeins are little stories that didn’t quite find a home in a larger collection—but they’re just as special. Each one was hand-dyed slowly and intentionally, with the same care I pour into every Motherhook Fiber & Co. yarn.
You may also see a few colorways marked with an asterisk (*). These are not OOAKs—they’re established Motherhook Fiber & Co. colorways from past collections that I currently have ready to ship. I’m including a small handful here as I clear out inventory and make room for new collections.

The Yarn
All skeins in this listing are hand-dyed in small batches in the Pacific Northwest on a 100% Superwash Merino Wool base. This yarn is Worsted (Weight 4).

Each skein is completely unique. Some are experimental pours, some were near-misses for past collections, and some are simply joyful little accidents that turned out beautiful.

🥀 Love You to Death – 100g – A beautiful mix of rich, dusty mauve, deep berry tones, and creamy white. A little romantic, a little moody, and just the right amount of dramatic. Because who says love stories can't have a spooky side?
👻 Ghosted Again – 100g – A dreamy mix of soft lavender, misty gray, and creamy white. A little mysterious, a little delicate, and honestly, far too pretty to just disappear on you.
🍬 Trick or Treat Yourself – 100g – A playful mix of peachy orange, soft coral, and bright pink speckles. Sweet, a little unexpected, and a reminder that sometimes you really don't need an excuse to treat yourself to another skein of yarn.
🔮 Witch, Please – 100g – A moody little mix of lavender, smoky charcoal gray, creamy white, and unexpected speckles of chartreuse. A little witchy, a little whimsical, and just enough attitude to keep things interesting.
🫖 Blue China — 50g — Powdery blue with lilac-kissed variation, reminiscent of antique porcelain and sun-faded floral china.
💭 Daydream Believer – 50g — Soft blush pink melts into dusty mauve with tiny pops of warm coral, gold, and berry throughout. Dreamy, a little nostalgic, and just playful enough to feel like something pulled straight out of a very good daydream.
💕 * Rosy Company – 50g — A playful mix of bright rosy pink and soft blush, created in collaboration with Melissa Made That for the Cozy Joy Collection. Cheerful, bold, and very much the kind of pink that refuses to be background color.
🎂 * Cake for Breakfast – 100g — A soft swirl of peach, blush pink, and creamy white, originally released as a little birthday celebration. Sweet, cheerful, and just indulgent enough to make cake before noon feel completely reasonable.
